I charge by the hour to give clients flexibility and ensure they only pay for the time they actually need. This pricing method works well for events with changing schedules, such as parties, portraits, or short sessions, where the length may vary. My hourly rate covers my time shooting, basic equipment use, and professional experience to capture high-quality images throughout the session. If the event runs longer than expected, additional time is billed at the same hourly rate so everything stays clear and fair. This structure allows clients to stay in control of their budget while still receiving consistent, professional photography coverage.
Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Yes, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation or phone call before booking to make sure we’re the right fit and to go over all the important details for your session or event. During the call, we can discuss your vision, preferred style, location, timing, pricing, and any specific shots or moments you want captured. It also gives you a chance to ask any questions and feel confident moving forward. My goal is to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible, and a quick consultation helps ensure everything is clearly planned before your booking is confirmed.
Do you visit the location before the day of the session?
Yes, I can visit the location before the day of the session if needed to help ensure everything goes smoothly and to plan the best possible shots. Doing a location scout allows me to check lighting conditions, identify the best backgrounds, and plan for any potential challenges such as space, weather, or crowd levels. While it isn’t always required for every session, I’m happy to do it for larger events or important shoots where preparation can make a big difference in the final results.
What should we wear to our session?
I recommend wearing outfits that are comfortable and reflect your personality. Neutral colors and coordinated tones usually photograph best, but I’m happy to help with styling advice.
Do you travel FOR SESSIONS?
Yes, I do travel for sessions within a 30-mile radius of my location. This allows me to work with clients in surrounding areas while still ensuring I can arrive on time and fully prepared for the shoot. Travel within this range is included in my pricing, but for locations outside of 30 miles, an additional travel fee may apply depending on the distance. My goal is to make sessions as convenient as possible while still providing high-quality, professional photography wherever you need me.
